Ed is a trainee Solicitor at Pilkington Shaw, currently sitting in the RTA litigation team having completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester. Ed graduated from the University of Liverpool with a 2:1 in Ancient History and Archaeology.
Ed started his career at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst; fortunately for Pilkington Shaw, he decided that he was ‘too soft for the army’ with a move into the legal industry as his chosen career.
Ed is particularly proud of his first trial ‘Liability was fairly straightforward but there were a number of issues that the other side raised which were successfully countered at trial, and I know the client was really pleased to win as he wanted to donate his settlement to a charity which had helped his father shortly before the trial’
Outside of work Ed had the amazing experience of climbing Kilimanjaro with a friend. Making it to the top, with the added-bonus of raising money for a charity dear to his heart.

If you could have fifteen minutes with a famous person who would it be and why
15 minutes with David Attenborough, although it wouldn’t be enough time! I’m a massive natural history geek, and he’s generally considered the most travelled person on the planet, he must have some amazing stories.
Three words you can’t go a day without saying
Pizza, gym (to counteract the pizza), holiday
In one sentence how would you describe your role to a young child
I argue with people who don’t want to own up when they’ve caused an accident or done something wrong.
